Visakhapatnam: A two-day second international conference on ‘Microelectronics, electromagnetic and telecommunications (ICMEET)’ will be organised jointly by Raghu Institute of Technology and Raghu Engineering College from Friday on the college premises.

Chairman of Raghu Group of Educational Institutions K Raghu disclosed here on Thursday that the ICMEET is an international colloquium aimed at bringing scientists and researchers together to discuss the recent developments and future trends in the fields of microelectronics, electromagnetic and telecommunications.

Some of the important fields of interest to be discussed include antennas, GPS, remote sensing, VLSI circuits and systems, nano- electronics and nano technology, digital signal and image processing techniques, devices and sensors.

He said eminent people, including Prof Lakshmi C Jain from the University of Canberra, Australia, Prof Ganapati Panda from IIT Bhubaneswar, Prof Naeem Hannoon from Malaysia and Dr Sanjay Sen Gupta, scientist from CSIR, New Delhi will be attending. RINL General Manager K Sairam Kumar will be the chief guest, he added.
