Amaravati Marathon tomorrow
Vijayawada: Amaravati Marathon director Nannapaneni Murali said that 10,000 will participate in Amaravati Marathon which is slated for January 8 at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium (IGMCS).

Addressing the media here on Friday, he said that DEEP Trust will organise Amaravati Marathon in which school and college will take part. “The marathon will be conducted in 21k, 10k, 5k and 3k. DEEP Trust will provide a T-shirt, Goody Bag, Timing Chip, Bibs, medal and snacks to the participants.
The 20k marathon will start from 6 am, 10k from 6.30 am, 5k from 7 am and 3k from 7.15 am, he added.
Commissioner of Police Gautam Sawang said that the State government is encouraging marathon to promote for a healthy society.
He said that Ramesh hospital will provide 12 ambulances and also arrange the international guidelines display boards on marathon. Ramesh Hospital Chairman Ramesh and others were present.
