Visakhapatnam: The Koyyuru police team as per the instructions of Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma conducted a mega medical camp at Palakajeedi village shandy in the limits of Koyyuru, the remote area in the Visakha Agency on Friday.

Visakhapatnam: The Koyyuru police team as per the instructions of Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma conducted a mega medical camp at Palakajeedi village shandy in the limits of Koyyuru, the remote area in the Visakha Agency on Friday.

The medical camp arrangements were supervised by ASP Narsipatnam Aishwarya Rastgogi, who informed that the medical camp-‘Sanjeevani’ is part of their Community Policing Programme.

A total of 600 tribals visited the camp of whom 350 were diagnosed for various ailments. Doctors from Visakha Eye Hospital, CARE and PHC of Golugonda and their paramedical staff screened the patients.

Police also arranged meals to all the people at the camp and distributed medicines free of cost. The SP and ASP thanked the doctors Narendra, Praveen, Sai Kiran, Madhu, Prabhakar and Damayannthi for their help in screening the poor tribals.

Koyyuru Inspector R Mallikharjuna Rao, Sub-Inspectors of Koyyuru, Mampa, K D Peta and other staff monitored the arrangements.
