“I laid the foundation stone for Thotapalli project and after 20 years I inaugurated and released water from it. No other government could complete it.

Tribal University, veterinary and horticulture colleges were granted for the district. Bhogapuram international airport is a boon to the district and local will get more jobs in those institutions.

There is a plan to develop Vizianagaram-Palakonda road into a four- lane and it would help the locals to have hassle free journey. We will take steps to reopen the jute mills which were closed due to losses. I wrote a letter in favour of jute mills. Nearly 10,000 workers will be benefited if those mills reopen,” he said.

Later, he interacted with people during Grama Sabha at Dwarapudi village and enquired about the implementation of welfare schemes. He said that he would provide facilities in the village and develop it as an ideal village in the district. Minister for rural development
