K Narendra, son of a poor bamboo worker, who is studying class X at ZP School in Santhajuthumuru village in Kurnool designed an automatic helmet for prevention of death in road accidents.

Inspired by a sad incident, in which his friend died after sustaining head injuries in a mishap, the boy made a special helmet.

With the help of his physics teacher N Ravisankar, he made an automatic helmet with a radio frequency transmitter linked to the bike. In other words without wearing the helmet the vehicle will not start and the helmet costs only Rs 525.

Talking to The Hans India, Narendra said that helmet wearing becomes compulsory for the rider and once you remove your helmet, the vehicle would come to a halt.

Another boy G Karthik, son of a tractor driver studying at ZP High School in Keelapatala village of Gangavaram mandal, Chittoor district displayed his talent at CSC exhibition with automatic water pump control.

The automatic water pump control was made of used materials like empty milk can, HW batteries. His teacher Reddeppa helped in shaping his idea into a system useful for farmers.

The reticent rural lad said that he wants to become an electrical engineer, to churn out more such useful products to farmers promote agriculture as token of his gesture to the farming community providing food for all of us.

A visually challenged class IX student Shrusank of Devanar School for Visually Challenged, Hyderabad made electronic audio sensors for visually challenged students to prevent electric shock when they were doing experiments in the electrical lab.

Sruthi Singh Thakur a class VIII student from Chhattisgarh displayed a theme of making of fertilisers with the flower waste in temples.

A quick visit to the exhibition which culminated on Friday, one cannot help anyone but wonder the amazing creative ideas of the children.
