Cong protest in front of Collectorate

Ongole: The Prakasam District Committee of Congress party and its allied organisations staged a protest in front of the Collectorate here on Saturday as part of the nationwide protests called by the national leadership against demonetisation.

The AICC Election Campaign Committee in-charge Milind Dharmasena and PCC joint secretary and observer for Prakasam district Lingisetty Eswara Rao also participated in the protest.

Milind Dharmasena said that the people suffered a lot due to demonetisation. He lamented that Prime Minister Modi took the decision to favour the corporate companies.

He demanded that the government withdraw the decision at least now to give relief to the farmers, women groups and weaker sections in the society.
