Nellore: JLN Murthy, regional in-charge and secretary of International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Hyderabad, said they were promoting Mediation for avoiding huge influx of court cases.

Addressing a two-day workshop at Umesh Chandra Conference Hall here on Saturday, Murthy said they conducted two-day workshops in 21 districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for creating awareness among the people, NGOs and community workers.

People get irritated if the justice was delayed and the Mediation and arbitration would be perfect solace for such emotions, he said.

He said they would elaborate advantages of the methods to the participants in the workshop and sensitising them on the issues.

He said The Arbitration and Conciliation Act 2015 came to fore recently with initiation of the Central government. District & Sessions Judge Maulana Junaid Ahmed, Senior Civil Judge and Secretary of DLSA
C Satyavani and SP Vishal Gunni and others were present.
