Chandrababu garners criticism for decision on scrapping off Telugu Medium
With the Andhra Pradesh government deciding to scrapping off Telugu Medium in Municipal High schools, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is facing severe criticism not just from the Opposition parties but even the educationists.
With the Andhra Pradesh government deciding to scrapping off Telugu Medium in Municipal High schools, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is facing severe criticism not just from the Opposition parties but even the educationists.
Stating that there are no government teachers trained to take up a sudden decision such as this, the Educationists lashed out Chandrababu who is reportedly planning to step back and is planning for amendments in the GO to scrap the Telugu medium.
Responding to the decision, Education Minister P Narayana informed that the Telugu medium students would be taking their exams in Telugu medium but the coming academic year will have counselling sessions to convince parents to shift their children to English medium. The Minister urged the Opposition not to politicize the issue in turn affecting the future of the students.
