Devotees were seen thronging the temple right from early morning to offer special poojas and the ardent devotees observed fast following the old tradition.

The celestial event of Vaikunta Ekadasi enthralled the devotes at Srinivasa Mangapuram. Telangana minsiter Talasani Srinivas Yadav begets Lord blessings at Srinivasa Mangapuram At the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Vari temple of Srinivasa Mangapuram, Vaikunta dwaram darshan was organised on both Ekadasi and Dwadasi.

The procession of Bangaru Tiruchi, the Snapana Thirumanjanam and Chakrasnanam were a major attraction. Vaikunta Darshan will continue tomorrow on Vaikunta dwadasi as well.

Speaking in the occasion, P Bhaskar, JEO Tirupati said that elaborate arrangements were made for Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi darshanam and all those devotees who could not make it to Tirumala availed darshan here.

He said the Vaikunta darshan has been commenced in this temple from last year and facilities of anna prasadam, drinking water and others were also made.

He said electrical illumninations and flower decorations were made and services of srivari sevaks and scouts were also organised for facilitating the devotees.

Deputy EO Sri Venkataiah, AEO Sri Dhanajeyulu and Superintendent Sri Dinakar Raju participated. At the Sri Kodandarama Temple, the asthanam of Sri Sita Lakhman and Rama Utsav idols were performed as part of Vaikaunta Ekadasi celebrations.

At the Sri Govindaraja Swami Temple special rituals were also performed as part of the celestial event.

At the Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Appalayagunta, sarva darsanam began from 5.00 AM to 9.00 PM in the night after performing dhanurmasam rituals and Tomala seva, Koluvu and Archana from 3.30 AM to 5.00 AM, Special rituals of Snapana Thirumanjanam and Chakrasnanam for the deity will be performed on Dwadasi day from 8.00 PM to 10.15 PM.

At the Kapileswara Alayam, Sri Somaskandaswami gave darshan on the floats as part third day event of the float festival in the evening, The artists of the Annamacharya Project entertained the devotees with bhakti sangeet.

Similarly Godess Kamakshi will also go around on the floats on Monday and bless the devotees Sri Subramanyam, the Dy EO and other temple officials participated.
