Vizag student bags Sangeet Shree award
Visakhapatnam: Anuraag Chirala of Class 9 in Visakha Valley School bagged Sangeet Shree award for his outstanding performance in keyboard and violin at the 8th International Dance and Music Festival in Cuttak, Odisha.
Visakhapatnam: Anuraag Chirala of Class 9 in Visakha Valley School bagged Sangeet Shree award for his outstanding performance in keyboard and violin at the 8th International Dance and Music Festival in Cuttak, Odisha.
The festival was being under under the aegis of Utkal Yuva Sanskrutik Sangh from January 2 to 8.
More than 1,000 participants attended the festival from different States in the country and abroad. Academically Grade-‘A’ student Anuraag practised music as a a hobby and also excels in badminton and basket ball.
He is also the recipient of national award at the International Dance and Music Festival held at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh in 2014 and in Cuttack, Odisha in 2012 besides a gold medal in the International English Olympiad, Snehanjali Prathibha Puraskar, Kalavahini Puraskar and Swati Vasanti Sankranti Puraskar.
