Dancing their way to a record
It was fantastic for the spectators to experience dancers with colourful costumes at one place performing dance items.
It was fantastic for the spectators to experience dancers with colourful costumes at one place performing dance items. A total of 85 disciples of dance master Sappa Siva Kumar gathered in the grounds of Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College to participate in the event to register their event in the Wonder Book Of Records. The dancers performed for 45 minutes continuously to the keerthanas like “Jayamu Jayamu”, Ananda Tandavam”, Adigo alladigo Sri Hari vasamu”.
he excellent performance of the dancers to the keerthans and their 'pada vinyasam' attracted the gathering as they observed the dance very closely. The vocal support of Kumara Suryanarana brought richness to the event. The dance performance was ably supported by Palaparthy Andjneyulu on violin, P Satyanarayana on mridangam, Kumar babu on flute and Pasumarthy Haranatha sastry on tabla.
In a meeting arranged on this occasion, A Prasad, representative of Wonder Book of Records presented the certificate to the dance master Sappa Sivakumar through Vedantam Ramalinga Sastry. Dance masters Chinta Ravi Balakrishna, Umamaheswara Patrudu and others also participated in the meeting.
