Amalapuram: The State government gives priority to sports and the training of aspiring sportspersons, Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinaraajappa said here at Amalapuram on Wednesday.
The Minister attended the final of sports and cultural competitions held on the eve of upcoming Sankranti festival at S K B R college, and presented prizes to the winners.
“All colleges should strive hard to produce more sportspersons”, he said. On this occasion, the governing body of college felicitated him. Local MLA A Anand Rao and others were present.
