Speaking on the occasion, he said that Vivekananda is the youth icon of India. Everyone should follow the footsteps of the saint, who is an eternal inspiring source for the nation.

Chief General Manager Yesunad, PRO Madhusudan and others also spoke. Junior Chamber of International (JCI) functionaries led by its Tirupati branch president G Anupama distributed sweets after garlanding the statue of Vivekananda at Medical College Junction to mark the birth anniversary of Swami.

SETVIN senior official K Mohan Kumar, music college lecturer Surendra and staff garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda opposite of SV Medical College here.

Mohan Kumar said SETVIN will conduct 10K cycling and 5K Run as part of ‘Naional Youth Day’ celebrations for the age group 18-35 in the city on January 17. Both competitions will start from Alipiri Road and end at Zoo Park. Interested candidates can register their names at SETVIN office on or before January 16.
