Kodela takes part in Bhogi celebrations
Guntur: Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao lit the bonfire set up with one lakh cow dung cakes at a programme held under the aegis of ‘Rytu Nestam’ at the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium here on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said he had tried to keep the State united before bifurcation and added that after division of the State, he was trying to develop it.
He listed the development works taken up by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, including the construction of temporary Secretariat and Pattiseema.
He felt that the State was divided for better future. He said he was happy to participate in the Sankranti celebrations and stressed the need to protect our culture. He said farmers got good yield and better price this year.
Rytu Nestam founder Venkateswara Rao said that they are creating awareness and motivating the farmers to start natural farming to reduce use of fertilisers. Guntur Mirchi Yard chairman Mannava Subba Rao, former MLC Dr Rayapati Srinivas were present.
