Narayana vows to protect Ongole bull
Nellore: Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana said that Chief Minister Chandrabau Naidu was planning to develop and protect iconic Ongole bull breed through a research oriented programme.

Minister along with legislators participated in exhibition and weight pulling competitions for bulls in Kanuparthipadu village here on Friday.
The Minister interacted with the owners of the Ongole bulls. He gave away award, which saw participation from about 32 pairs of bulls.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that there was a need to develop to protect the tradition and culture of conducting competitions for bulls. He also said that Ongole bulls and Punganuru cows have brought fame to the country.
Minister stressed the need for protecting bulls for agricultural purposes and also for other needs.
Sarvepalli MLA K.Govardhan Reddy, Nellore MLA P Anil Kumar, Nellore Rural MLA K. Sridhar Reddy, MLC Beeda Ravichandra, former Minister Adala Prabhakar Reddy and others were present.
