Safety is top priority: SCR GM
General Manager of South Central Railway Vinod Kumar Yadav said that safety is accorded as a top most priority on SCR. Safety is foremost and there cannot be any limitation towards attaining it, the General Manager said categorically.Â

Vinod Kumar Yadav visited Tirupati Railway Station on Friday on his maiden inspection after assuming charge as the head for the Zone. He was accompanied by Amitabh Ojha, Divisional Railway Manager and other Officials of Guntakal Division.
The General Manager undertook an extensive tour of Tirupati Railway Station. He checked all the facilities available at the station.
He also inspected the train maintenance pit lines area abutting the platforms at the station to analyze the maintenance capacity for trains here in the yard.
During the course of the inspection, he sought details from the Divisional Railway Manager and other Officials of the Division on the developmental plans of the station.
Responding to a question by media personnel, he stated that development is a continuous process and plans are in the pipe line for development of Tirupati Railway Station.
The General Manager added that the State Government will be involved in any rail development plans at Tirupati so as to ensure a well coordinated approach of action.
