Woman drugged, robbed
Visakhapatnam: A couple on the pretext of taking a portion of a house robbed gold ornaments from an elderly woman, the owner of the house after drugging her, at Muralinagar in the city.

Though the incident took place on Wednesday, the woman regained her consciousness the following day and lodged a complaint with the Vth Town police on Friday.
On Wednesday, the unidentified couple entered S Padmaathi’s house on the pretext of a taking a room in the building on rent.
The couple said that they would hire the portion in a couple of days and became friendly with her and offered her a soft drink laced with a sedative.
After she fell unconscious, they took away her gold bangles and other ornaments. Based on the complaint, police started investigation and launched a hunt for them.
