Thousands of devotees took part in the mock hunting jubilations organised in connection with the Kanuma festival by temple administration of TTD.
The processional deity of Lord Malayappa dressed in the royal robes of a Universal King was taken out to Paruveta Mandapam located about 2km away from hill shrine in interior forests, in a grand procession.
The deity was equipped with his celestial panchayudhas - Gada, Khadga, Sankhu, Chakra, Bana befitting the occasion.
