CM likely to open Model Police Stations
Two Model Police Stations, which were set up at Nagarampalem and Old Guntur, were functioning sans inauguration for the past three days.
Guntur: Two Model Police Stations, which were set up at Nagarampalem and Old Guntur, were functioning sans inauguration for the past three days.
Following the instructions from the South Coastal Zone, Guntur Range Inspector General of Police, N Sanjay, the higher officials shifted the Nagarampalem police station to the Model Police Station premises, while the old police station was handed over to the traffic DSP.
According to reliable sources, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to inaugurate the two Model Police Stations in the city after his return from Davos. Meanwhile, the officials are developing the greenery in the both the Model Police Stations.
It may be noted that the police department has decided to develop 10 Model Police Stations in each district in the State during the first phase and it will develop some more Model Police Stations in the second phase.
