MLC candidate seeks votes on R’seema development plank
Contestant for West Rayalaseema Graduates MLC Constituency Nagarjuna Reddy Tippa Reddy has asked people of the Rayalaseema to vote in his favour as he is the lone crusader for the cause of Rayalaseema development.
Anantapur: Contestant for West Rayalaseema Graduates MLC Constituency Nagarjuna Reddy Tippa Reddy has asked people of the Rayalaseema to vote in his favour as he is the lone crusader for the cause of Rayalaseema development.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Nagarjuna said that Rayalaseema wealth had been plundered and irrigation facilities denied by the powers that be for a long time. He said that post bifurcation, the rulers were concentrating only on development of coastal districts and all development is being centered around Amaravati.
He maintained that there were no job opportunities in Rayalaseema and irrigation facilities are not up to the mark to make the region fertile. “Neither did the region get a High Court or industries nor a Railway zone for Guntakal,” he added. He said that if elected by people he would work for development of Rayalaseema in the council.
