Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Minister for IT, Information and NRI Affairs Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that the Telugu Desam government is committed for people’s welfare, happiness and prosperity. He participated in ‘Pasupu Kumkuma’ programme at Janakiramaiah Kalyana Mandapam here on Thursday.
Addressing the DWCRA and MEPMA women, the Minister said that every group is being given Rs 1 lakh as an investment fund by the banks and every member Rs 10,000 for investing in small businesses.
The Minister said that former Chief Minister Nandamuri T Rama Rao had done a lot for women including equal property rights and 33 percent political reservation to women in the local bodies.
