Adoni (Kurnool): Workers of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged a protest in front of Revenue Divisional Office here on Friday, demanding the Central government to implement equal pay for equal work.
Addressing the protestors, Division president Mahanandi Reddy said that the Supreme Court gave verdict in this regard. He also demanded for the implementation of PF and ESI besides sanctioning of leave for 180 days with full payment.
He further said that the governments should provide job security besides resolving the problems of Anganwadi and mid-day meal workers. CITU division secretary Veeranna, Somakka, Venkatamma, G Padma and other workers were present.
