Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma launched a 15-day intensive mobilisation programme (remedial classes) for the officers and staff of Armed Reserve wing at the Police Grounds, Kailasagiri, here on Friday.

Visakhapatnam: Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma launched a 15-day intensive mobilisation programme (remedial classes) for the officers and staff of Armed Reserve wing at the Police Grounds, Kailasagiri, here on Friday.

As per the rules, mobilisation programme will be conducted once in a year to make all the Armed Reserve personnel fit to discharge their duties with more skills.

During the 15 days programme, civil police will be deputed in the place of AR personnel. Addressing the participants, the Superintendent of Police disclosed that Armed Reserve personnel will undergo training in parade, weapons and tactics, field craft, mob operation, yoga and firing practise.

He said that the AR personnel would be benefited with the programme as it rejuvenates individual skills and talent and would help discharge their duties with perfection. The remedial classes will be conducted under the supervision of AR DSP N S S Sekhar, Reserve Inspectors Chandramohan and Nageswara Rao, he added.
