Rajamahendravaram: Kapu Joint Action Committee (JAC) informed that the Satyagraha Yatra announced by Mudragada Padmanabham would start from Ravulapalem on January 25. The JAC has demanded the State government to release a whitepaper on the loans that were distributed by the Kapu Corporation.

Addressing a media conference, here on Friday, JAC senior member Vasrireddy Yesudas said that they would go ahead with Satyagraha Yatra at all costs. “As long as this government is going to be in power, Section 30 will be imposed in Kapu dominated areas. “The yatra will start from Ravulapalem and 18 to 20 kms will be covered every day by walk,” he informed.

He declared that they would not go back on their demand for inclusion ,of Kapus in BCs. Yesu Dasu said that they were doubtful that Justice Manjunatha Commission would submit its report in stipulated time.

“When TDP was in power earlier, Justice Puttaswami Commission was constituted and the report was in cold storage for many years.

Congress government constituted Justice Dalwa Subrahmanyam Commission, the report also put in the dustbin,” he recalled.

JAC leaders Akula Ramakrishna, Kothapeta Raja, Akula Veerraju and others were also present.
