Hyderabad: The Rajya Sabha MP K V P Ramachandra Rao asked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to lead a massive agitation on the lines of the one that was held at Marina beach in Chennai demanding ordinance for Jallikattu to get special status for the State.

In a letter to Naidu, Rao said Tamil Nadu had achieved what it wanted in three days but the State government failed to get special status and railway zone besides special funds for development of backward areas even after three years of being in power.

Actually, what Andhra Pradesh was demanding was nothing new but it only wants that the assurances given on the floor of the Parliament at the time of bifurcation of the State by the former Prime Minister should be implemented.

The MP said that the Centre has conceded the demand of the neighboring State following a united fight mounted by all sections in the State on it.

Asking Chandrababu Naidu to lead a fight against the Centre, KVP said all political parties, workers, students, intellectuals and all other sections of people would stand behind him to get justice to the State. Interestingly, the Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan also made a similar
statement.
