Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Police civil constable written exam held here on Sunday went of smoothly.
A total of 12,391 candidates appeared for the exam held in 20 centers in the city. Tirupati urban police involved its ‘Sevadal teams’ at railway and bus stations to guide the candidates, who came from various districts of Rayalaseema to reach their centres.
Bus facility to candidates from Railway station, central bus stand to exam centers were provided.
Tirupati Urban ASP Swamy and other police officials inspected the examination centers where tight security was in place and the candidates were allowed only after through check.
