CM likely to inaugurate model police stations in Feb first week

Guntur: Director General of Police N Sambasiva Rao paid a visit to model police station at Nagaramplem in the city and interacted with the staff. He stressed the need to improve services in the Model Police Stations. The Director General of Police already invited Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the inauguration. The Chief Minister is likely to inaugurate the two model police stations in the city in February first week.

Speaking to The Hans India, the South Coastal Guntur range Inspector General of Police N Sanjay said that they are giving top priority to improve services in the Model Police Stations. “We are imparting training to the staff posted in the model police station,” he said.

“We are focusing on reception services first. We are imparting training how to receive complaints. After improving services in the model police stations, we will improve services in other police stations in the capital area in Guntur,” he said.
