Tadepalligudem: CPM State Secretariat member V Umamaheswara Rao on Sunday criticised that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and PrimeMinister NarendraModi are ready to hypothecate the State and the country to corporate companies under guise of cashless transactions. He warned the governments that the party won’t keep quite if the government gives permission to Paytm like organisations in the country.

He attended CPM district workers meeting as chief guest held at Sundarayya Bhavan in Sitarampeta area in Tadepalligudem town of West Godavari district. The CPM State leader said that the State and Central Governments, which demonetised the big currency to unearth the black money, are trying to be in favor of the corporate companies to get commissions.

He also criticised that it is shameful on the part of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to welcome the Paytm CEO Sharma to establish a University in Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravathi. Umamaheswara Rao stated that at the time of scrapping of currency, the governments’ announced no commission to online transactions. However, at present it has deducting commission even Rs.100 transaction was taken place.

He expressed concern over the situation and demanded the governments to abolish the commission system immediately. He demanded to conduct the online transactions through government sector only. He also stated that due to the demonetisation, the agriculture, industrial sectors are in deep crisis and the farmers are facing severe hardships to get money to cultivate the crops in the rural areas and added that they did not get the loans as well.
