ZP chief pats youth for active participation

Chittoor: Zilla Parishad (ZP) chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash has appreciated the youth from various States for their active involvement in different activities at the ongoing national integration camp here. The camp is being organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangatan under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports at TTD Kalyanamandapam. The participants have been showcasing their talents in skits, dramas, dance, music and other cultural activities in the national integration camp.
Addressing the participants of the camp here on Monday, the ZP chief gave a call to parents and teachers to encourage the youth for opting cultural fields apart from sports and studies. She urged the youth to contribute for the society in improving literacy rate. Girvani has encouraged youth to take politics as a career. Nehru Yuva Kendra district coordinator Babu Reddy has explained the objectives of the event. He stated that more than 500 youth from various States are participating in the camp which will conclude on January 25. Earlier, Chittoor MLA D A Satyaprabha and other officials have visited the national integration camp.
