Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed severe dissatisfaction over the recent developments over the Vamsadhara Irrigation Project in Srikakulam district and expressed his ire on the party leaders including Labour Minister K Atchannaidu for not dealing with the displaced persons properly.

While addressing the TDP co-ordination committee meeting which was held at his residence, here on Wednesday, Chief Minister while referring the issue of Vamsadhara, he said that even though the TDP State president and other leaders hailing from Srikakulam failed to tackle the issue properly.

“While the displaced people of Gandikota project in Kadapa district celebrated after release of compensation G.O.Whereas, in Srikakulam even though the G.O was released in June, the issue remains unresolved.

Our leaders don`t have proper co-ordination. Due to the negligent attitude of some Ministers and officials, the government was forced to seek apology,” CM regretted.

While referring to recent rift between Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu and Guntur ZP Chairperson SK Jani Moon, the TDP supremo fumed over the acts of indiscipline of the Minister.

He said that there are several complaints pouring from the district on the Minister’s attitude. “By creating controversies the Minister is destroying the party’s image in the district. I will never allow anyone to violate party`s discipline,” he warned.

When some of the party leaders referred to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s recent comments on Special Category Status, the TDP chief reportedly said that he also anticipated some protests in the State after jallikattu episode in Chennai.

But there is no similarity between jallikattu and SCS issue, he clarified. He asked the party leaders to prepare themselves to give fitting reply behalf of the party to the agitations of opposition parties.

Earlier, the Chief Minister has discussed about the ensuing MLC elections and the sharing of seats with BJP. He said that a clear picture will emerge in the coming days on seats allotment.

He asked the party leaders to strengthen the party from grass root level by appointing local committees. He also briefed the members over his recent Davos tour and the discussions held with International business leaders.

Before commencement of party co-ordination committee meeting the members met party’s national general secretary Nara Lokesh, who gave power point presentation on party`s core dash board.
