Professor in race for MLC poll
Srikakulam: Electrical engineering Prof Chintada Ravi Kumar of Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) is in the race for MLC election from north Andhra District Graduates Constituency.
Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, he said that he is doing social service in memory of his father Chintada Mukunda Rao.
He said that he strived to eradicate distribution of money and liquor at his native village Ravikantipeta in Amudalavalasa mandal during the last two elections.
He said that 4.2 per cent are graduates out of total population in north Andhra and they have to ponder about backwardness of this region and and elect a suitable person in the ensuing MLC elections to raise the voice of Uttarandhra in the council.
