7-foot statue of Pawan Kalyan installed

Tadepalligudem: A seven-foot statue of actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan was installed at a vacant site near Lakshminarayana Theatre here by Jana Sena Party (JSP) activists on Thursday.

The JSP activists, after unveiling the statue, raised slogans praising his
leadership. They also performed ksheerabhishekam (cleansing with milk) to the statue.

Later, they sat on a relay fast at the statue in support of Special Category Status (SCS) demand.

They raised slogans demanding the Centre to grant the SCS to the State.
Party leaders Sitaram Mohan Chandu, Nagendra and others participated in
the programme.
