R-Day at APCOST
Republic Day was celebrated in a big way at Regional Science Centre of AP State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) on Thursday. Secretary B Varaprasada Rao was the chief guest. He hoisted the National Flag.
Speaking on the occasion, he stressed the need to safeguard freedom. Regional officer JD Rao also spoke.
Fruits distributed to mark R-Day
South Central Railway (SCR) Rail Mazdoor Union Vijayawada divisional secretary Y S R K V D Prasad sang paeans to B R Ambedkar for writing the best Constitution. The RMU celebrated the Republic Day at the office by hoisting the National Flag. He distributed fruits to the patients in Vijayawada Divisional Hospital (VDS) here on Thursday.
SCR Vijayawada division ticket checking branch secretary Sanjeevaiah also distributed fruits to the staff nurses and patients in the VDH and felicitated Chief Medical Officer N C Rao for improving the standards of VDS.
