Rajamahendravaram: Airports Authority of India, Rajahmundry Airport celebrated 68th Republic Day with patriotic fervour and unfurled the National flag.

During the celebration, Lok Sabha member of Rajamahendravaram M Muralimohan hoisted weather-proof decorative National flag in front of the Terminal building of Rajahmundry Airport, while Special Protection Force armed guards extended Guard of Honour to the flag.

MLC Adireddi Appa Rao, Rajanagaram MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh, Rajamahendravaram City MLA Dr Akula Satyannarayana, Rajamahnedravaram Mayor Pantam Rajani Sesha Sai, Airport director, Rajahmundry Airport, M Raja Kishore, TDP state organising secretary Ganni Krishna, GIET college students and airport security unit graced the occasion.

During the event, dignitaries thanked Minister for Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapati Raju for granting permission to for hoisting the flag in the airport and appreciated the efforts of Airports Authority of India, Rajahmundry Airport for execution of the work. The above National Flag will be flying 24 hours, 365 days with illuminated light focused on the National Flag in front of the terminal building of the Rajahmundry Airport.
