‘SC/STs underdeveloped in BJP rule’

He flagged off the bus yatra at Itchapuram town on Thursday which is meant to highlight the woes of SC, ST, BC and minorities. In the name of Make in India, the Modi government is inviting foreign investments in all fields to damage economy, he lamented.

Demonetisation of currency notes would slow down economy and it hurts the poor and spares rich and corporate, he pointed out. Even in capital cities across the country costly and prime lands are being handed over to corporate, said CPM and CPI State secretaries P Madhu and K Ramakrisna.

The bus yatra will cover 175 Assembly segments across the State and will be concluded at Hindupuram in Anantapur district on March 6, said CPI district secretary Ch Sunderlal.
