Jammalamadugu (Kadapa): The district officials are busy making the arrangements to hold Gandikota heritage festival in February. Repetitive postponement of festival resulted in the devotees doubting whether it would be held this time or not. On this occasion, Tourism Regional Director Gopal inspected the arrangements for the upcoming festival.
Speaking to the media, Gopal said that because of administrative problems the festival was delayed many times. He assured that festival will be held February 17th to 19th. The director said that they had already sent the proposals to the government in this regard. The committees were formed to make the festival success and making all arrangements to avert any inconvenience to the visitors, said Gopal.
The District Tourism Officer Khader Basha, DRDA Project Director Anil Kumar Reddy, District Educational Officer Prathap Reddy, RDO K Vinayakam, municipal commissioner Madhusudan Reddy, STEP Chief Executive Officer Mamatha, MPDO Mallaiah, Gandikota sarpanch Bhaskar and others were present.
