New DRO takes charge

Chittoor: District Revenue Officer (DRO) Rajia Begum took charge from the outgoing DRO Vijayachander here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Rajia Begum gave a call to revenue employees to play a crucial role in the district development. The DRO asked employees to dispose the revenue litigations at the earliest and keep track of online applications, which were kept pending.

The RDO explained to DRO about the progress of various departments pertaining to 20 mandals in the division. Speaking to The Hans India, the new DRO stated that she would take steps for the clearance of petitions which were received during Prajavani as per the instructions of the District Collector.
