HIV patient in hospital with swine flu

Visakhapatnam: A male HIV positive patient was admitted to government chest hospital with suspected swine flu symptoms. His swap will be
sent to testing centre at King George Hospital on Monday, said Swine Flu nodal officer Dr Kalyan Prasad.

This will be the second case in the district. One 26-year-old female patient died recently. So far Vizag officials have sent about 24 samples to
the SVIMS. Of the received results of the samples, one tested positive and the patient died.
