Pulse polio drive launched

Vijayawada: Mayor Koneru Sridhar launcehd the pulse polio drive at New Postal Colony kalyana mandapam, Patamata here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said said that 1,36,904 children were identified for vaccination. In all, 38 officers have been deputed, 1,795
workforce was deployed and 382 polio camps were set up for the pulse polio immunisation drive.

District Collector Babu A, Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwar Rao, East MLA Gadde Rama Mohan Rao, Central MLA Bonda Uma Maheshwar
Rao, Deputy Mayor G Venkataramana Rao, MLCs Boddu Nageshwar Rao and Buddha Venkanna took part in the pulse polio drive.
