VUDA should sell plots through draw of lots: BJP

Visakhapatnam: The executive committee meeting of the city unit of BJP here on Sunday under the presidentship of M Nagendra unanimously
resolved that the VUDA should sell its plots or flats through draw of lots and not by auction to benefit the people. It may be recalled that when
the VUDA recently began selling plots through auction mainly focusing on realtors, a team comprising Nagendra, MLA P Vishnukumar Raju and
others met VUDA Vice-Chairman T Baburao Naidu and appealed to him to sell the plots only through draw of lots for which the VUDA has
responded positively.

Nagendra said that the meeting of the total 1,658 polling booths, committees were appointed to 974 booths and the balance will be completed
in a week’s time. Local MP and party State president K Hari Babu, who was present, called upon the party cadres to observe the death
anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as ‘Samarpana Diwas’ on February 11.

MLA Vishnukumar Raju reiterated that he would continue his tirade against corrupt officials. Party senior leader P V Chalapathi Rao, leaders
Kasi Raju, Ch Ramakotaiah, T S Reddy, P V Narayana Rao, Narendra Prakash, S V S Prakash Reddy and G Chandrasekhar Naidu were
present.
