Hyderabad: The High Court at Hyderabad has on Monday further extended the exemption granted to YSRCP President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy from personal appearance in the cases relating to his assets in the special CBI court.

Justice B Shivashankar Rao passed this orders when the case filed by Jagan challenging the orders of Special CBI court directing him to be present during the trial. It may be recalled the court had in an interim order last August granted exemption to Jagan from personal appearance.

Those interim orders were expiring on Monday. The exemption was further extended till the next hearing on February 15.

The court also extended the interim stay granted on the proceedings relating to Dalmiya Cements MD Puneet Dalmia and IAS officer B P Acharya and posted the cases to February 15.
