Budget neglected poor, opines TSR
The Central Budget for 2017-18 presented in Parliament on Wednesday totally neglected the poorer sections and it was not as was expected, said Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman, Committee on Subordinate Legislation Dr T Subbarami  Reddy.

Dr Reddy commented that allocation of budget amounts were not done as per the priority of each sector and it completely disappointed Uttarandhra people as there was no mention of separate railway zone for Vizag. Thus, Vizag was cheated again, he added.
INTUC national leader and general secretary of Visakha Steel Employees’ Congress, recognised union of Vizag Steel Plant Rajsekhar Mantri alleged that there was no benefit to the salaried people or to the working class with the budget. The enhancement of IT exemption limit was also very meagre and the Centre has totally ignored the interests of Andhra Pradesh.
