Srikakulam: Photographer Duppada Anand was arrested on Wednesday on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor girl here. According to Srikakulam One Town sub-inspector K Chinnam Naidu, the accused sexually exploited an eight-year-old girl by luring her for the past several days.
He did not change his attitude even after receiving warnings from parents of the girl. Vexed with the accused attitude, girl’s mother lodged a complaint with police on Wednesday. Based on the compliant, police registered a case against the accused under Section 7 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Later, they arrested the accused.
