Kurnool: Shiva Ram Prasad took charge as new Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) here on Wednesday. After assuming office, the ASP met the District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ake Ravi Krishna at Command Control Room. Prior to Shiva Ram Prasad, T Chandrasekhar Reddy was holding the post. Due to Reddy’s retirement, Prasad has been appointed as the ASP.
Prasad was discharging duties as Assistant Director at AP Police Academy. Prasad is a native of Madanapalle and joined the Police department as Sub Inspector in 1985. As a Sub Inspector and Circle Inspector, Prasad had worked in Hyderabad city traffic and law and order wings and Intelligence department. He also worked as a DSP in the Central Investigation Department (CID).
The SP congratulated Shiva Ram Prasad while police staff and police officers organisation members have welcomed the officer.
