Kadapa: District Superintendent of Police (SP) PHD Ramakrishna inaugurated the police station at Vempalli mandal headquarters in Kadapa district on Wednesday. Earlier, the SP inspected the modernised police station and its surroundings. Speaking with the media, Ramakrishna said that it was the first modernised police station in the district. “A special scrutiny was placed to identify illegal transport of red sanders logs as part of friendly-police.
A proposal was laid for the establishment of two new police stations, he added. OSD (Operations) B Satya Yesu Babu, Additional SP Amburajan, Rural CI Ramakrishnudu, Vempalli SI Madhu Malleshwar Reddy and others were present.
