Kadapa: MLC Geyanand has alleged that the TDP is wooing voters with cash to win in the ensuing Graduate MLC polls. Speaking to the media after participating in the people's organisations coordination meeting here on Wednesday, Geyanand alleged that the ruling party adopting undemocratic ways to influence voters and officials to secure victory in Graduate MLC elections.
“A MLC should represent the intellectual community for raising local issues and exert pressure on the ruling government for finding solutions,” he added. He gave a call to political parties to put up a united fight for establishment of steel plant in Kadapa. He also demanded the all political parties to clear their stand on Contributory Pension Scheme.
