Anantapur: Within days of an attack on a woman allegedly by the TDP leaders in Nallacheruvu, several party activists, including Sarpanch of Jallipalli Nagaraju in Kuderu mandal on January 29 severely beat up a widow Sudha.
Anantapur: Within days of an attack on a woman allegedly by the TDP leaders in Nallacheruvu, several party activists, including Sarpanch of Jallipalli Nagaraju in Kuderu mandal on January 29 severely beat up a widow Sudha.
The sarpanch and a member of the local Janmabhoomi Committee Chandra Goud kicked and abused her. They dragged her even while continuing the attack, ignoring her pleading. But none dared to go to the woman’s rescue.
Her family members wanted the road-widening work as part of the Hospet-Chennai highway to be slightly altered so as not to become an obstruction to their house. This led to a row between the TDP leaders and the family
members.
