​Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy said the government had started land registrations in the name of Amaravati district and decided to open three more new registrar offices in the limits of new registration district to provide more convenience to landowners who gave lands for capital construction.

Inaugurating the new registrar office at Tulluru, he said that new registrar offices also would be started at Ananthavaram, Mandadam and Undavalli villages soon. He said the Amaravati capital is becoming reality owing to the sacrifices of landowners of the capital region villages.

The government has taken care by establishing new sub registrar offices and Amaravati registrations district to avoid problems in registering the lands of farmers. On this occasion, Krishna Murthy said the government is earning Rs 3000- Rs 4000 crore from stamps and registrations.

He said that the government would pass a Special Act and it would be sent to Union government for approval to eradicate double registrations.

He asked the officials to provide all required amenities at registrar offices. He said the government had introduced several reforms in the registration department for providing more convenience to public.

The Deputy CM also distributed the pension women and physically challenged persons. MLA T Sravan Kumar and several officials were also present in the function.
