Arrangements reviewed for Sant Maharaj’s birth anniversary

Gooty (Anantapur): Joint Collector B Lakshmikantham has reviewed the arrangements for the celebration of Sant Sevalal Maharaj's 278th birth anniversary scheduled to be held during February 13-15 at Cherlapalle village in Gooty mandal, here on Friday.

The Joint Collector asked officials in the mandal to make necessary arrangements for the 3-day celebration, specially drinking water amenities and hygiene and sanitation arrangements to make the celebration hassle-free.

Lakshmikantham asked the DSP Chidambar Reddy to make foolproof security arrangements including vehicle parking and barricading of the venue for orderly conduct of the celebrations by the devotees, who are expected to throng to the venue particularly on February 14.

A control room will also be opened for better coordination among officials and devotees. Ambulances, 104 and 108 vehicles will also be kept ready for emergency medical attention to devotees. Fire personnel will also be posted at the venue.
