NTR’s village Nimmakuru to see huge development
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao`s native village Nimmakuru in Krishna district is going to witness huge development in the coming days.

The State government has released Rs.4 crores under Rural Development Fund grant for the development of roads and drain works to provide better amenities to people of Nimmakuru of Pammarru mandal in Krishna district.
Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (PR&RD) Principal Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy issued GO on Friday accordingly.
Nara Lokesh had adopted Nimmakuru two years ago under Smart Village – Smart Ward scheme to mark the Swachh Andhra programme.
The PR&RD officers have identified seven works both in Patha Nimmakuru and Kotha Nimmakuru including Nimmakuru- Mantripalem road work. No developments works have taken place in the village for the past two and half years though the village was adopted by Nara Lokesh.
The state government has released Rs.16.31 crore under Rural Development Fund grant for 2016-17 including Nimmakuru village roads and drains development works.
